Another Academy win for Viglen

Hertfordshire based ICT provider, Viglen, has added yet another Academy to its client roster by securing a contract to provide an entire computer solution for The Bushey Academy.

The Academy, which is celebrating record examination results and whose core values include creativity, transformation, and sustainability, will place ICT at the heart of creating a successful learning environment for students.
Viglen beat several competitors to win three high-profile Academy tenders with a combined total value of over £4.5 million. This next contract, worth over £1.8 million, will see Viglen and their services become even more integral to the ICT strategies of learning institutions across the UK.
A total of 1,350 students at Bushey will benefit from Viglen’s ICT solutions across the five-year contract, which will deliver innovation to the Business and Communications-focused Academy through the provision of an entire computer solution.
A primary objective for The Bushey Academy is to create a state-of-the-art learning platform that meets the different needs of individual learners and facilitates anywhere, anytime learning. ICT will also provide the tools to support staff through training activities and provide a comprehensive range of services to meet the needs of the local community.

“Viglen have shown a pro-active customer focused approach to this project and we look forward to working with them in our ongoing drive for excellence in all areas. This is set to be a very positive partenrship.”

The Academy sector continues to be a primary focus for Viglen and we hope that this contract win will be followed by many more in the coming months.”
