Viglen score’s hat-trick in £3 million, three year deal with Gloucestershire Health Community

The Gloucestershire Health Community required an IT provider to service the Trusts’ continuing needs for break/fix replacement of PCs Countywide. Amounting to approximately 2000 desktops and notebooks evidence of a stable product line over the next 5 years was a key specification.
 
Showing strong evidence of supply chain management and environmental sustainability across its proposition of Ultra Small and Small form factor PC’s, mini-tower PC’s and laptops and offering the most economically advantageous bid, Viglen were able to succeed the incumbent who had been in place for seven years.
 

Viglen were invited to bid via Buying Solutions Commoditised IT Hardware and Software framework agreement which invites public sector customers to source a variety of high quality, great value IT products while benefiting from simple procurement options.
 
Selection as supplier by the Gloucestershire Health Community is further recognition that Viglen is the preferred choice for those Public Sector customers looking for innovative solutions at great value prices. Employing in excess of 12,000 staff, the Community operates from over 100+ locations, serving a population of over 600,000 throughout the County of Gloucestershire and neighbouring Counties.
