This quarter we introduce a number of new technologies to our HPC range.

Cluster Accelerators
NVIDIA® Tesla™ 1U computing system is the first to bring a massively multi-threaded architecture to high performance computing (HPC) applications for scientists, analysts and other technical professionals. The Tesla S870 is a slim 1U form factor to fit into an enterprise server environment. In addition, it easily scales to solve the most complex, data-intensive HPC problems. Featuring four 128-processor computing core GPUs, a C-language development environment for the GPU, a suite of developer tools, and the world's largest GPU ISV development community, the Tesla S870 allows professionals to develop applications faster and to deploy them across multiple generations of processors.

Opteron AMD Twin Motherboard AMD Compute Node

The much awaited AMD Twin motherboard solution is almost with us.

Based around the same core technology found within our conventional 1U AMD HPC Servers, the HX2225a brings 2U of processing power into a single 1U chassis.
With each motherboard within the HX2225a supporting 2 AMD Opteron 2000 Series Processors, up to 64GB RAM, two Hard Disks, Dual Port Ethernet (with optional 20Gb/s infiniband), and a PCI-Express x16 slot, the HX2225a really is like having two complete HPC nodes in 1U.
