The Challenge
Jubilee International High School is located in
Runnymede, Surrey, and has a student population of
almost 700 and 120 staff members. It prides itself on
its innovative approaches to all aspects of learning,
such as forging strong links with partner schools across
the globe and developing an exemplary Performing Arts
department. In order to ensure that both pupils and
teachers have access to essential coursework and
resources while increasing the size of the student body,
the school needed to implement a state-of-the-art
IT infrastructure. Its existing fragmented data
storage platform was reaching the end of its life and
could not provide the capacity and scalability
needed to meet the school’s goal of making itself an
IT leader. Its backup system also needed to be
modernised to keep students’ work safe, as it was
based on a tape library solution which
was inef ficient and costly.
